Honest scope · No fine-print surprises
What our audit covers — and what it doesn't
Most audit tools won't tell you where their coverage stops. We will, because it matters: an automated crawl is strong at some things and genuinely can't do others. If a seller claims their €29 report includes real-user Core Web Vitals or live Google Search Console data, check the fine print. Here's ours, in full.
What a ChuzeSEO audit covers
| Indexability | Whether search engines can read each page — status codes, canonicals, noindex tags, robots.txt — and what's quietly blocking them. |
|---|---|
| Broken links | Internal links that point to pages returning 404, a server error, or nothing at all — dead ends for visitors and wasted crawl budget. |
| Metadata | Page titles, descriptions and headings: present, missing, duplicated, or too long, and whether they sell the page. |
| Content depth | Thin pages, duplicate titles or descriptions, and whether pages answer what visitors actually search for. |
| Structured data | Whether JSON-LD (schema) is present and valid, so pages qualify for rich results. |
| Social sharing | Open Graph tags — the title, description and image shown when a page is shared. |
| Images | Missing alt text, plus width/height that prevent layout shift. |
| AI visibility | An llms.txt file, AI-crawler access in robots.txt, and answer-friendly schema — what makes an AI assistant able to quote you. |
| Performance (lab) | Render-blocking resources, missing cache headers, uncompressed HTML, and images without dimensions — page-speed signals we can measure from the code. |
| Accessibility (automated) | Language attribute, page landmarks, heading structure, and links with no readable text. |
| JavaScript rendering | Where a site needs JavaScript, we attempt a headless-browser render before scoring, so we don't grade an empty shell. |
What it doesn't cover
| Field Core Web Vitals | Real-user speed data from the Chrome User Experience Report. We measure lab signals from your code, not field data — and we say so in the report. |
|---|---|
| Google Search Console data | We don't read your GSC account. Indexation findings come from our own crawl of your public pages, not from Google's coverage reports. |
| Backlinks | Anything off-page — inbound links, domain authority, or link spam. This is an on-page audit. |
| Rank tracking | Where you rank for keywords, now or over time. We tell you what's holding the site back, not your position. |
| A human review | It's an automated crawl, not a consultant. We explain every finding in plain English, but nobody is manually reading your site line-by-line. |
| WCAG conformance | Accessibility checks are automated and partial (we note that contrast isn't assessed). It's a signal, not a conformance certificate. |

What to verify before you pay
Anyone can claim a tool is good. Here are the questions to ask of any SEO audit — ours or a competitor's — with our answers, so you can check we're honest.
| Does it crawl my whole site, or sample a few pages? | ChuzeSEO crawls up to 1,000 pages — the full depth at every paid tier. Your 300-page site is covered entirely, not sampled. |
|---|---|
| Does it report each issue against the specific URLs affected? | Yes — every finding lists the affected URLs and the number of pages involved, with evidence links. |
| Does it measure real performance, or just give a score? | A deterministic grade plus lab performance signals (render-blocking, cache, compression, layout shift). We do not claim field Core Web Vitals — those need real-user data we don't fetch, and we say so. |
| Plain English and technical? | Both. Bronze explains every issue in plain English; Silver and Gold add the technical detail, exact URLs and code a developer needs. |
| Can I export the report? | Yes — HTML, PDF and a findings CSV, emailed to you, plus a copy-paste fix-pack on Gold. |
| Does it change my site? | Never. It's read-only — we crawl public pages and write nothing back. No CMS access, no plugin, no edits. |
| Is every finding evidence-backed? | Yes. We'd rather report a handful of well-evidenced issues than hundreds of speculative warnings — see real, anonymised reports. |
