How much does an SEO audit cost?

Prices run from €0 to €5,000+, and the range is confusing because 'audit' means different things to different sellers. The question that matters isn't the headline figure — it's what you actually get. Here's the landscape.

Free audits (€0)

Most 'free' tools scan one or two pages, flash a grade, and gate the detail behind an email or a subscription. Useful as a rough sense. A genuine free snapshot (like ours) crawls 10 real pages and shows the grade and top issues on screen — no email.

Monthly suites (€100+/month)

Semrush, Ahrefs and Seobility sell platforms: rank tracking, keywords, backlinks, audits — billed every month. If you live in the data daily, that's worth it. If you want one answer about your own site, you're paying for a lot you won't use.

Agencies and consultants (€500–€5,000+)

A human audit is thorough but slow and expensive — weeks of waiting for a technical report you may need help to read. For a 50–500 page site with a budget well under €200, that's often overkill.

One-off deep audits (ours: €29–€89 + VAT)

ChuzeSEO charges once, not monthly. Bronze €29 (€35.67 incl. VAT), Silver €49 (€60.27 incl. VAT), Gold €89 (€109.47 incl. VAT) — all from a full 1,000-page crawl, differing only in report depth. Prices exclude 23% Irish VAT, added at checkout unless you supply a valid EU VAT number. You get the diagnosis and, at higher tiers, the fixes written out — a report your developer can act on.
