Why isn't my website showing up on Google?
You built the site, you're proud of it, and yet when you search your own business, someone else comes up first — or you don't appear at all. Usually it isn't one big problem; it's a stack of small ones that quietly hide you. Here are the common causes, and how to find them.
Google hasn't found you yet
A brand-new site with no links pointing at it can sit undiscovered for weeks. Google finds sites by following links — from another site, a directory, or your own social profiles. An audit tells you whether you're blocked from being crawled at all (a robots.txt or noindex mistake), which is the fastest thing to accidentally do wrong.
Your pages read as thin or generic
If every page says the same thing, or nothing much at all, Google has little reason to show you. A crawl flags thin pages and duplicated titles and descriptions — the exact spots where a site looks unfinished to a search engine.
Missing or weak titles and descriptions
The title tag is the headline Google shows in results. Without a clear, unique one per page, Google has to guess what the page is about. An audit lists every page with a missing, duplicated or over-long title, with a corrected version ready to paste.
The fixes are often cheap and quick
Most of what hides a small site is fixable in an afternoon — correct a title, remove a stray noindex, add alt text, write a sentence of real content per page. A one-off audit under €200 (from €29 + VAT) gives you the list, in plain English, so you or your developer can act on it.
