Connect Google Search Console to your Gold report
Connecting Google Search Console tells your report the one thing a crawl can't: which of your pages Google has actually indexed — and which it's ignoring. It's read-only, takes about a minute, and you can disconnect any time.
Why connect it
Your report already crawls your site and grades it. Google Search Console adds the other side of the picture — Google's own record of your pages. The report cross-references the two, so you see, in plain English: “Google has indexed 8 of the 12 pages we crawled.” That's the difference between a page being broken and a page being invisible.
How to connect — three steps
1. Open your report (or your account page) and click “Connect Google Search Console.” 2. Google opens and asks you to sign in — use the Google account that manages your website's Search Console. 3. Google shows a consent screen: “ChuzeSEO wants to view your Search Console data.” Review it and click Allow. You're back on your report, done — a Google Search Console card now lists each inspected page's status.
What we do — and what we don't
We connect read-only: we can view which of your pages Google has indexed, and we can never change anything in your Search Console or on your site. We never see or store your Google password — you sign in on Google's own screen. We store only one encrypted access key, used solely to read your own site's index status for your report. Your data is never shared, sold or used for anything else.
How to disconnect
Two ways, either one works: delete your ChuzeSEO data using the link in the footer, or remove “ChuzeSEO” under Google → Security → third-party access. Both sever the link immediately.
The honest boundary
The Google Search Console card shows the index status for a sample of your pages — not your keyword, impression or ranking data. Those live in Google Search Console itself. We show you the important bit: is Google seeing these pages at all?
